Marienbibliothek (Mary Library)

The Marienbibliothek is the oldest and largest Protestant church library in Germany to have remained open and accessible by the public since its creation in 1552. The library contains 30,000 volumes, more than 400 incunabula (prints from before 1500) as well as works from all fields of knowledge, spanning the 15th to the 18th century. It is an absolute treasure trove of interesting and fascinating facts.
