Roter Ochse Memorial

The prison named “Roter Ochse” (Red Ox) has a dark and fascinating history: The Nazi regime used it as a prison, mainly for political prisoners, and the GDR Ministry of State Security housed a detention centre here. Today a permanent exhibition reminds us of those times.
